New HOA Website Is Now Live

Thanks to Aaron Rockwell our HOA Webmaster who has spent many volunteer hours updating and making our HOA website much better to find information.  More importantly he has done this for many years.  The first person to guess how many years he has been volunteering to keep neighbors and renters informed will get a surprise gift left at their doorstep.  Please email me your name, address, and number of years he has been doing this.

Not only has Aaron been a longtime volunteer, he has been working hard in moving our HOA website forward with a new layout and hopefully easier for subscribers to find information.  You can find the new website at http://thegreensatloomistrail.org and everyone needs to sign up for the email alerts when new articles and newsletter updates are posted.  There is a “subscribe” link on the website which is: http://thegreensatloomistrail.org/?page_id=90 to add your email address.

I am recommending that when neighbors see each other this week to be neighborly and inform them of this new information as not all neighbors read their emails daily or perhaps they have changed their email address and/or are not receiving the news updates of the HOA. This is the method for communicating to all of our HOA members and renters that we have email addresses for currently.  For neighbors that don’t have email addresses that anyone knows of, please  have people contact Judy Hamner directly.

Fall Drive Through will be the 2nd week of October so Plan Ahead This Week:

Thankfully the storm, rain, and wind are gone this past week and the weather forecast looks very promising for a week of sunshine and fairly warm temperatures for fall landscaping, lawn mowing, weeding, pruning, and trimming of trees/shrubs, adding bark, and even some last minute painting possibly.  Remember all new paint color changes must be approved by the board of directors before any painting can begin.    When in doubt please read the HOA CC & R’s on this and other important rules and requirements too.

All homeowners remember to keep your overhang of trees/shrubs off the sidewalk for neighbors that walk, ride bikes, and walk their dogs as we have had a few concerns about this.  The best advice is to go out to the edge or your property and look both ways and see if this pertains to your property and be pro-active and attentive to look and see individually. It is also highly recommended to be a good neighbor and make sure your own trees/shrubs don’t overhang into your neighbor’s property either too.

Thanks for everyone’s attention to making the drive thru this quarter the best ever!   Homeowners that have renters need to also actively make sure that renters know about important rules to be followed as sometimes this information is not communicated very well.  Ultimately the homeowner is the one responsible.  As many neighbors have noticed, homes continue to sell quickly making The Greens at Loomis Trail a very desirable neighborhood.  Currently, a few homes having pending offers on them and more homes will be continuing to be listed for sale too.  It is everyone’s responsibility to keep our neighborhood looking visibly attractive with every effort to keep yards mowed, landscaping routinely  kept up, garbage cans out of sight from the roadway after garbage pick-up days, and when in doubt on other items read the CC & R’s.

The next monthly newsletter will be on October 3rd with several updates in this newsletter. Also, if anyone has items they would like to sell please send me a photo of the item, your name, short description, price, and contact information no later than Tuesday September 29 to be included in the next newsletter.  In past newsletters, neighbors have been very successful in selling to our own community members or sharing the information with their friends too.

Sincerely,

Kathy Barnes
