Neighbor Information On A Few Topics To Share:
There have been a few areas of concerns to mention that are being shared from HOA neighbors as suggested friendly courteous reminders and important information to know; plus, to be respectful as a homeowner too.
1) If a neighbor is having a special event/gathering at their house it is recommended to inform close neighbors for several reasons. If someone is having an outdoor gathering/barbeque and home repairs are happening close by from another homeowner or a hired vendor with power tools, power washing, and/or lawn mowing/weed eating work being done it can be very loud and distracting.
By communicating this with a neighbor, it could then possibly be arranged for work to be done at a different time than a scheduled event. If homeowners talked to their neighbors; issues like this could be prevented as no one has ESP on when someone is going to have a special indoor or outdoor event.
For example, for work that continues for hours this could become annoying or distracting if the noise continued for hours or all day, rather than 30 minutes or so. This is just something to keep in mind with homes being very close to each other to think about and keep in mind for the future so that any unexpected surprises might possibly be prevented.
Also, with two larger events happening on the same day and time it creates a possible traffic and parking concern too.
2) Another area of concern is if anyone is hiring a company or doing work themselves such as landscaping work and/or painting for example, please inform hired vendors to keep work being done on the property they are working on and not on neighbors property. The HOA is not responsible for hired vendors by homeowners or individual homeowners as well doing work for any possible damages that could occur to other homeowners’ property.
Plus, any vendor that a homeowner hires, needs to be informed at time of hire to park in a pull out space or the person’s driveway; not on the road or the boulevard grass. All debris must be cleaned and swept up as well. This includes bark, grass clippings from weed eating, oil spills from vendor vehicles, and such as other neighbors do not want to clean up these messes and the homeowner that hired the vendor is responsible for seeing that their hired help does the clean-up. Keep this information handy when discussing work orders with companies being hired.
No Soliciting In the HOA Loomis Trail Neighborhood:
There is no soliciting by businesses allowed in the Loomis Trail neighborhood. For those not aware there is a small sign on the front gate that mentions this too. Recently this past week a business representative knocked on a homeowner’s door wanting to know if they were interested in discussing a Pest Control Service and they were not happy about this at 7:30pm. Neighbors should not encourage door to door knocking as a reminder either.
Upcoming Major Tree Cutting Happening September 15th and September 16th:
The Board of Directors has authorized and voted to contract with a licensed and bonded tree trimming service company to trim all the boulevard trees throughout the entire neighborhood. This will occur on Wednesday September 15th and Thursday September 16th and white sandwich boards will also be placed at the front gates for a reminder and those neighbors to be informed that are not subscribed to receive the HOA newsletter and updates.
The board members are requesting all homeowners to NOT Park any vehicles in the visitor pull out parking spaces for these two days. Also, if you are hiring any vendors and/or landscaping services these two days please inform them to park in driveways or try to come another day to do work. The work crews will be using trucks to trim the trees and will need full access from the roadways throughout the entire neighborhood and pullouts too.
Thank you for your cooperation. Please tell all family members, visitors, and guests about this as all vehicles need to be gone the evening of September 14th from the parking pull outs for the work to begin on time on both days.
Dog Poop Reminder:
It has been a while since this topic has come up but it is time to revisit. For new dog owners, you must pick up and carry a doggy bag and dispose of the poop at your own home. Also, if you have children, visitors or dog walkers walking your dogs, please share this with them too.
Also, dog owners please do not use empty lots for your dogs to poop in any longer. This is not acceptable as someone does have to mow these lots.
Thank you from several homeowners on Cambridge and Ashbury Court.
