Holiday Happenings in the Neighborhood:
Wishing everyone the best of the Thanksgiving and Holiday Season for 2020. Both entry gates will be decorated again with holiday swags and wreaths to brighten the entry to our beautiful neighborhood.
Also, a big thanks to Heather Jackson who is encouraging neighbors to get into the holiday spirit with “Holiday Lights” in The Greens at Loomis Trail. Let’s show our excitement for the holidays as we have many new home owners and renters that are new in the neighborhood. In past years, neighbors have brightened their homes and yards with beautiful decor and lights which makes evening walks with families much more exciting when it is cold out. Please join in the fun to make the neighborhood festive. For all the details, attached is more information.
Inclement Weather Reminders:
Fall and winter rain can bring nasty weather and some challenges at times. Keep in mind that the pond fills fast with the rain and can also make the outer perimeters of the grass area very slippery. Children should not be left unattended without a parent or guardian in this area due to safety concerns. It is highly recommended that young children hold onto an adult’s hand too when viewing the ducks, herons, and wildlife in the pond as kids have a tendency to move very quickly. Safety matters and it is recommended to share this with family members and guests too that are visiting.
As colder temperatures have arrived already this brings frost, ice, and soon snow as we approach winter months. As a reminder, be careful at the gates when approaching them to go even slower for possible sliding when the ice and snow falls and accumulates. For new homeowners and renters living here for the first winter season, the neighborhood will be plowed if the roads appear to be collecting several inches of snow and that the snow will remain on the ground for several days.
Real Estate and Home Sales:
Two more homes have sold in our neighborhood and home prices continue to rise. Currently, there is one home on the market for sale and our neighborhood continues to be highly desirable to live in. Please keep your property maintained throughout all seasons.
Parking Reminders:
If guests and family members will be coming for any gathering at your home and there is not enough room to park in the driveway at your home, guests must be informed and instructed to park in the paved pullouts which are throughout the entire neighborhood. Parking is not allowed on the grass areas and damages to grass boulevard areas can be costly and fines can be assessed.
There have been several concerns about parking in grass areas even when the pullouts are close to someone’s home. This is what the pullouts were designed to do in providing additional parking for visitors and business vendors coming and going to homes too; especially landscapers. For those that hire contractors and vendors, please make this part of your normal conversations when making arrangements.
Please submit any information for the next newsletter, no later than December 11, 2020 to [email protected].
