Wishing Everyone a Happy Holiday Season:
Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season celebrating with family, friends, and neighbors. It looks like there might even be a break in all the downpour of rain on Thursday December 2nd and Friday the 3rd to get outside to beat the rain before the weekend again to get your holiday lights and decorations up. The upcoming weather forecast for December appears to be a lot more continued rain.
Both Entry Gates Decorated:
The two entry gates to the neighborhood have been decorated for the holidays. Thanks to Adele Berman for helping out to decorate them and for being flexible with the weather as we had to reschedule the original decorating plans. I also want to thank Paty Williams too as she was planning to help out on the rained out day. Neighborhood volunteers are much appreciated and a great way to meet neighbors.

Neighborhood Water in the Neighborhood:
WRS staff have worked diligently checking the pond near Cambridge Loop and the small creek flow by Ashbury Court in the past few weeks. All is working well at this time for neighbors that have inquired and have an interest in being kept informed.
Some neighbors have voiced their concerns about the new lot on Ashbury Court that is being built and the water rising where the foundation is. Please know the lot owner has been in close contact with his contractor this week on next steps with the recent heavy rains. The foundation work is being monitored and the owner is very conscientious too on moving forward carefully.
As mentioned in past newsletters, especially for the newer home owners that have moved to the neighborhood this has been an extremely wet and rainy year for all of Whatcom County; plus, lots of wind as well. Let’s all hope for a better season ahead for the coming months and the next year.
Happy Holidays to Everyone:
Stay Healthy, Have a Happy Holiday Season, and with Gatherings Please Remind and Inform Guests of the Parking Rules. A big KUDDOS for many homeowners that have been instructing guests so far as well as their landscapers and hired vendors to park in the boulevard pull outs. This has been noticed by many neighbors.
This is so important to continue this messaging now and in the future in all communications with hired help especially as the dents in the grass boulevards are not a pretty sight; plus expensive repairs for the HOA and/or fines for neighbors.
The next newsletter submission deadline for information to be posted or photos will be December 27th for the January 2022 newsletter. Please send to [email protected].
