SAFETY MATTERS – PLEASE SHARE WITH NEIGHBORS/FAMILY AS NOT EVERYONE HAS EMAIL OR SUBSCRIBES TO THE HOA NEWSLETTER:
An email was received by an HOA neighbor yesterday morning from Jim Mullally at 4412 Castlerock that he had a prowler inside his house yesterday morning (Wednesday, January 19th) at 1:30am. No sign of forced entry, no damage, nothing was taken that the homeowner could tell thus far. The entry was through the sliding glass door in their back yard. The homeowner mentioned he must have scared the intruder off when he got up to read a little bit. The incident has been reported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Please share this incident with your family members and neighbors as not everyone reads email daily, has a computer, or for some reason there are neighbors not even interested in subscribing to the HOA newsletter.
Also, for those neighbors that do have security cameras if you happen to view your cameras and see anything suspicious that looks out of the ordinary, please feel free to send additional information to [email protected] for sharing in the newsletter and report any possible updates to the Sheriff’s Office too.
It is very well known that many neighborhoods in Blaine and Birch Bay are experiencing theft, prowlers, and such in all communities; even gated neighborhoods locally and in Whatcom County. If anyone else finds they are missing anything or in the future have incidents or see something out of the ordinary, please report these as well and contact the Sheriff’s Office too.
NOTICE OF THE 2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING THIS SATURDAY JANUARY 22 AT 11:00AM:
This is a reminder of the 2022 Annual General Membership Meeting being held at the Loomis Trail Golf Club Upstairs Meeting Room this Saturday January 22nd at 11:00am. Please arrive on time as it can be disruptive when the meeting starts to have people walking in late while the meeting has started. Also, please wear a mask to the meeting.
Everyone should have received their packets in the mail that were mailed on January 5, 2022. For those members that are not able to attend the meeting on Saturday, hopefully your ballots for the election of HOA Board Members were sent or dropped off to Judy at Elite Property Management no later than Friday January 21, 2022 as mentioned in the correspondence of information in the packet. Proxy information was included in the packet as well.
It is important that all members read the information ahead of time prior to the meeting. Also, please return the Loomis Trail Homeowners Association Requested Unit Owner Information form to Judy Hamner to ensure accurate updated information is included for all homeowners as well. This form also was included in the packet. If anyone has any last minute questions, please call her at (360) 685-4209 or send an email to [email protected] at her office.
Also, the next newsletter will be the first week of February and a huge thanks to those that have already sent in photographs and the many referral contacts for vendors that are being compiled to be included in the newsletter.
